How to Prep for your Appointment

Congrats on your engagement! You've got your other half, the bling, an appointment booked at Isabel O'Neil Bridal Collection now what? 

We know how exciting this time in your life is and firmly believe that finding your gown should be the funnest part of the planning process. That's where we take over and you are free to sit back, relax, and enjoy your appointment. Here are a few things to remember when prepping for your bridal appointment:

Arrival
Your appointment will be 90 minutes long. We recommend getting to our shop on time or 5-10 minutes early. This way we can ensure you get the most out of your time with us.

Bring Inspiration
Bridal shops can be overwhelming, lots of dresses and accessories to pick from! It's good to know your wedding style (we will discuss this more in another post) as well as your dress style. Do you know you LOVE ballgowns? Or prefer something more fitted? Tell us or bring us a picture! We are here to help bring that vision of yours to life.

Undergarments
This one is easy. Come wearing your favorite strapless nude/white bra and nude/white underwear. You will likely wear nude under your dress on your big day so this helps to avoid seeing distracting colors underneath.

Bring Your Crew
We love shutting down the store for you and your guests. It makes for such an intimate and fun experience. Bring some gals or guys with you whose opinion you value, but who will ultimately let you shine. 

Enjoy the Moment
Don't fight the moment! You only get to try on your wedding dress for the first time once so enjoy every second.
